Your campus may choose to reset all budgets to zero each fiscal year. This can be requested by your campus Main or Secondary Contact via our Support Portal.
Resetting your budgets will set everything back to zero, but the budget structure will be maintained. All previous budget cycles and transactions will be preserved.
Note: It may take up to 30 days from the time you request a new budget cycle for the reset to be complete. Please make your request with adequate notice.
How to Request a New Budget Cycle:
- Before requesting a new budget cycle, you must first confirm that there are no pending deposits, expenditures, or reconciliations left in your finance requests.
- If you would like to roll pending allocations over to the next cycle, you may leave them pending. If not, please approve or deny them at this time.
- Visit https://involve-support.moderncampus.com/hc/en-us and click Submit a Request in the top right corner
- In the request, select "General Inquiry or Support Request" and "New Budget Cycle"
- In the description of your request, let our Support Team know that you would like to reset your budgets to zero. If you would like to roll over pending allocations, please let us know at this time.
- Once your request has been submitted, our Support Team will connect with you to confirm that everything looks good before initiating the reset.
- From this point, it may take up to 30 days for the reset to be complete.
