How do you present Presence/Involve to your Students?

We are just going live with Presence/Invole for the Spring Semester and wanted to make it as easy and seemless as posible, so we are placing a link to presence in our main portal where students go to register to login to D2L classes, etc.   All of these resources are via single sign-on links since the students have already logged in to the portal.   Unfortunaltey, however,the Presence link takes you to the unauthenticated page where you have to find the person icon and the top and choose login which is an extra, non-intuitive step.   

How do you make presence visible to students and ensure that they see all of the public and authenticated content?
