How to Enroll Students into an Experience

Experiences allow you to engage with students in a new and meaningful way by encouraging them to take control of their own learning. It’s easy for students to find and complete Experiences by going to the Experiences tab under opportunities on the student portal.

Alternatively, you can assign experiences to specific students via the admin dashboard. 

When to Enroll Students into an Experience

Many experiences can be found on the student portal and completed by any student. You may have situations where a select student needs to complete a requirement, or an experience is only relevant to certain groups. You can choose to hide these experiences from the student portal.

  • Student org presidents have a required leadership training, so you enroll them into a "Leadership Experience." 

  • Your Fraternity & Sorority Life Council may choose to track requirements using Involve Experiences, so you only want to enroll those students who are already members. 

  • You have a service hours requirement for all members of the honors college, so you enroll them into an "HC Service Hours" experience.

 

Enroll Students into an Experience

  1. From the admin dashboard, hover over the left side menu and select Experiences.

 

  1. Find the Experience you want to enroll a student in by scrolling or searching and click on it's title.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Enrollment tab. If you see a button that says "Enable Enrollment," click it.

 

  1. Choose to hide or show the Experience on the admin dashboard.

 

  1. Click the Enroll button.
  2. Add any email addresses or student ID numbers for those you want to enroll. Each new student should be entered on a new line.
  3. Click the Enroll button to submit.
