Assign Access Permissions to Users Using Permission Sets

Quickly give new or existing users the right access by applying a Permission Set during role assignment.

 

Steps to Assign Permissions

  1. Open the People Dashboard
    • Hover over the left side menu
    • Select People
  2. Find or Add the User
    • Use the search bar to locate the user
    • Click the three stacked dots next to their name
    • If they’re not yet a user, select "Add as a User"
  3. Edit the User
    • Select "Edit"
  4. Assign a Role
    • Under Access, click "Add Role"
    • Choose the appropriate role for the user
  5. Apply a Permission Set
    • If a preset exists for that role, a dropdown menu will appear
    • If no preset exists, you can create a new one
    • Under "Assign permission set…", choose the desired set and click "Assign"
  6. Adjust Permissions if Needed
    • The system will auto-check all permissions from the selected set
    • You can manually select or deselect permissions as needed
  7. Save
    • Scroll to the top and click Save
