I’m looking to build a point system for a particular group of students. How should I use experiences, points, and pathways to effectively design and track something like this?

Great! You can create a Points Type and then enroll of students in that point type. Our professional services team consults on points set up and we can help! If you contact your institutions account manager and them know, we will meet with you and help you build. 

 

Can students view points through the app? if not, can we activate that feature?

Unfortunately students cannot view their points on the app at this time. We would love to have you share that request/recommendation at this link: https://presenceroadmap.moderncampus.com/ 

In the top right corner of that page, you'll see a Submit Idea button!

 

Can forms be filled out and sent to an organization? Or does the specific organization need to create a form? Example Meeting notes.

Forms can be sent to an individual but not to an entire organization. So for example, we could set up a form to go to the organization president but not to the entire organization. You could upload a document to the organizations document section on the admin dashboard (there are screenshots at the bottom of this page demonstrated this process)!

 

What is the best way to set up repeating events that repeat on a regular schedule (ie.every Monday night at 9pm)

We don't have a recurring events feature, but you can create an event and then duplicate that event which will just require you to change the date and time. That is the easiest way to add events that repeat!

 

I'd love to learn more about the certifications badge option.

This can be built with our Experiences feature! If this is something that your campus isn't currently using, then our professional services team can work with you all to set up this up!

I am with the marketing and communications team and I am the approver for my area. Where can I find the events that required my approval? Once I approve, I want to be able to see only what I have said yes to.

You should be able to see all of the forms that have been sent to you for approval in your forms inbox. Click on the forms tab in the admin dashboard and then click the responses tab and your inbox. You can then filter by status 'Approved'

If you are adding advisor to organization though transition process, why do they need to confirm via email to get rights?

The system requires that advisors and officers accept the invitation to be a part of the group. This is essentially in place to make sure that a group doesn't just add a staff member as their advisor with no verification that is the case.

 

Can you require they host a certain number of events per semester?

We do not have that as an option for active requirements, but you could run an events report at the end of the semester and that will show how many events were hosted by each organization.

 

Could you cover how to make an event mandatory once more?

The only time you can make an event mandatory is under the Active Requirements and that will require it for a specific officer of each organization. Good afternoon, is it possible to upload informative documents for students to have access to . For example constitutions , travel doc, ect.

You could upload a document to the organizations document section on the admin dashboard!
