Duplicating Events

Want to create a duplicate event without recreating the wheel? Here’s how! You can duplicate any event, past or future. This is perfect for recurring organization meetings or monthly workshops!


1. Log in to your Admin Dashboard. Using the left navigation menu, click on “Events”. 

2. Find the event you would like to duplicate from the complete list of approved campus events. (Events pending approval cannot be duplicated until they are approved.)

 You can search by event name (note: you may need to delete or alter the dates in the Date/Time search field to be able to find a past event).

3. At the end of the row, click on the three stacked dots and select “Duplicate Event”.



4. The next screen should look familiar! It’s the event registration form, filled out with all of the same details as your original event. From here, you can update and change any field that you’d like. Be sure to change the time and date!

5.  When you’re done with your edits, scroll back to the top of the page and click on the green "Submit For Approval" button.

6. That’s it! You’re all done! Repeat this process as many times as you need to duplicate events.
