How It Works
To simplify the event creation process, Involve can import events automatically from EMS and 25Live room reservation systems. This is a one-way integration where approved events using a query that is created in either EMS or 25Live are added to Involve and immediately shown as approved events. Specific details can be added to the events and students can be checked in once they are imported.
How to Setup the Integration
Once you have decided that you would like to setup the one-way integration from EMS or 25Live to Involve, you will need to send your Customer Success Manager the following information. The EMS & 25Live integrations both take 45 days from the date your CSM receives the information.
EMS
To integrate with EMS, we’ll need the following information:
- API Endpoint (URI)
- Login Username and Password
- Query ID - The specific ID that points to a query that is created and saved in EMS. For example, the query may only want to pull in events hosted by active student organizations and departments.
Note that EMS requires their paid API add-on in order to integrate with Involve.
25 Live
To integrate with 25Live, we’ll need the following information:
- API Endpoint (URI)
- Login Username and Password
- Query ID - The specific ID that points to a query that is created and saved in EMS. For example, the query may only want to pull in events hosted by active student organizations and departments.
